Singing
Your voice is a very special instrument that you always have with you. The physical differences in vocal cords between men and women, for example, create a variety of vocal ranges such as soprano, tenor and baritone. Combining lyrics and music, singing is also a powerful way to convey emotions.
Courses
This individual course is open to anyone whether you are just starting or an advanced vocalist. In the first lesson of the individual course, the teacher will assess your level and discuss your personal goals with you. This information will be used to plan out the structure and content of your lessons. Throughout the course, you will work towards your end goal.
In this course, you will learn more on how to bring lyrics, chords and melodies together to create a song. Explore tools like chord progressions, song structures and rhyme schemes to tell your story.
During this course, your teacher can also help you combine your songwriting with performance, for example how to play and sing at the same time.
Please note: for Songwriting, enrol with our teacher Marvin Dee. In the webshop, you enrol for a time slot with the combined name "Singing / Songwriting". You can tell your teacher in the first lesson what you want to focus on. This may be songwriting only, or singing only, or a combination of the two.
