Pralaya Yoga

Pralaya Yoga is a physically challenging form of yoga developed by Robert Boustany from Houston. Pralaya Yoga focuses on strengthening weak muscles and loosening up the connective tissues. Practising Pralaya Yoga with other sports can help to improve performance and to prevent or heal injuries.

Ticket hour - All levels

During the Pralaya Yoga lessons you will do exercises consisting of traditional and non-traditional postures. These will develop your strength and flexibility, and bring your body into balance. The emphasis is on strengthening weak muscles, so that you align and balance your joints (including the spinal column). Straightening and balancing the spinal column will help you to develop a good posture. It also promotes organ health, because the bodily organs receive impulses from the nerves in the spinal column. Apart from learning the postures, you will learn more about how the body works and how you can apply certain principles in your daily life.

Practical information

Wear comfortable sports clothing that allows for movement. You do not need to bring gym shoes to the lessons because Pralaya Yoga is practised bare foot. Do remember to bring a towel and a bottle of water. We recommend bringing a jacket and a (fleece)blanket.
