Marilyn Monroe once said: ‘Diamonds are a girl’s best friend’. But it is not just diamonds that we desire for centuries. Jewellery in general has always been captivating. We decorate ourselves with necklaces, earrings, rings and bracelets.
Cursusniveaus
In the jewellery course, you learn to make your own jewellery and work on your own ideas/designs for jewellery. The course starts with designing a piece of jewellery. Then you will choose a material and you learn how to saw, file, sand and solder. Furthemore, you will learn how to cast jewellery.
Docenten
Jonas trained to be a goldsmith during his studies in Schoonhoven from 2018 to 2022 and is now studying to be a Geography teacher. He did a year-long internship with a goldsmith/jeweller and now works for himself. His teaching goal is to let students experiment first and then receive guidance after. Practical Information
The course includes all materials needed to complete your course such as alpaca and copper. If you would like to work with a precious metal, you can purchase silver during the course.
