Fashion Design

During the fashion courses, you will learn the essentials of creating fashion, from basic designing and tailoring skills to more advanced techniques. In the intermediate course, you will learn how to make your own design, turning an idea into a unique product.

During the course you will make, among other things, a tote-bag, a zipped pouch or toiletry bag, and a basic, cropped or oblong T-shirt.

This course is perfect for you if you have taken a fashion course before and/or have basic knowledge of how to pin, cut and sew an item from a pattern. This is a technical course where you will apply advanced techniques such as pattern design. You will design your own customised pair of trousers or a top using different types of fabric. .

If you have advanced sewing knowledge and have taken design courses before, it is also possible to enrol in this course to receive guidance and advice on a personal project.
